This program is created for children who can benefit from a small, safe, and nurturing environment.
This program can also be helpful specifically for children who struggle with emotion-expression or emotion-regulation and who could use a boost of confidence and compassionate guidance.
While this is not a therapeutic process, the program has therapeutic elements.
It is not tailored for specific or severe cognitive or behavioral issues.
All children must be potty-trained. Restroom is adjacent to the class space.

About Miriam
I’ve been working with children for 15+ years in different educational environments, and I love creating affirming, compassionate, and holistically-informed spaces for children to learn, be creative, and thrive.
I hold an interdisciplinary BA in Therapy Through Nature and Expressive Arts and am a graduate student for an MA in mental health counseling. I am also an art-school graduate. I have taken courses in conflict resolution and outdoor education, and am certified in first-aid & CPR as well as in Child Care Basics.
I love having time to be outdoors, read and write, and be with my family, as well as being active in the community through music, education, spirituality, and peace-work.
